Invitations

Invitations expire after 7 days, count against your member cap while pending, and cannot be resent. Revoke and reissue instead.

Last update:

Team > Members > Invitations lists every invitation sent from this workspace, and only Admins can open it.

Statuses

An invitation is in one of three states:

StatusMeaning
PendingSent, not accepted, not yet expired
AcceptedUsed, and the person is a member now
ExpiredPast its 7-day window

Status is derived from the dates rather than stored, so an invitation flips to Expired on its own.

Member slots and reissuing

Pending invitations occupy member slots. Your plan's member cap counts members plus pending invitations. A workspace that looks under its limit can refuse a new invite because of forgotten ones. Revoking frees the slot immediately.

There is no resend. Nothing re-sends an invitation email. If someone lost it or let it expire, revoke the invitation and create a new one. Revoking first is worth the habit, since it keeps the list honest and returns the slot.

Revoke

From the row menu. The link stops working immediately, whether or not it has been opened.

Revoke when someone changed roles before accepting, when you invited the wrong address, or as periodic cleanup of expired entries.

Housekeeping

Expired invitations are not cleaned up automatically. Filter to Expired occasionally and revoke them, which keeps the list readable and stops them counting against your cap.

Invitations are recorded in the audit log, including creation, revocation, and acceptance. For more information, refer to Audit logs.
